Objectives and Key Deliverables

As a Comp/Benefits Analyst you will:

-Support the implementation process of all employee benefit programs
-Support the delivery of services to employees to resolve problems related to access or to payment of benefits; Processes enrolment forms, changes, and requests
-Coordinate table maintenance and configuration for open enrolment and new benefit plans in the HCM system
-Coordinate the communication of information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures
-Handle escalated and complex benefit inquires and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution
-Conduct audits on benefit plans in a timely manner to ensure compliance with all plan provisions and governing statutes
-Assist HR Strategic Administration in the planning, design, and evaluation of employee benefit programs
-Maintain relationships with outsourcing partners and third party vendors supporting benefit programs
-Coordinate the transfer of data to external vendors, plan providers, auditors, and consultants as necessary and during the vendor contract renewal process
-Partner with HR leaders and HR Shared Services to foster a team environment promoting open communication  
-Monitor changing government regulations to ensure compliance
Review the performance of Employee Benefits Senior Specialists and Employee Benefits Specialists; Identify training needs, corrective requirements, and develops plans of action
-Develop and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with established guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements 
-Facilitate communication with HR Business Partners regarding the annual merit pay planning process, and mass compensation processing, recommendations, and approvals
-Approve and coordinate pay matrix updates, ad hoc compensation adjustments, and payments for mass processing 
-Develop, monitor, and ensure processes for evaluating and auditing operational performance against established metrics, quality, standards, and service level agreements .
-Partner with HR leaders and HR Shared Services to foster a team environment promoting open communication 
-Identify and implements audits on compensation practices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with all plan provisions and governing statutes
-Ensure that compensation documentation meets compliance guidelines; Maintains documentation of all company-wide and facility-specific compensation plans for easy access and direction for managers, HR Business Partners, Compensation Senior -Specialists, and Compensation Specialists
-Review the performance of Compensation Senior Specialists and Compensation Specialists; Identifies training needs, corrective requirements, and develops plans of action

Preferred certification and education:

-Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred
-Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification or Certified Benefit Professional (CBP) designation preferred
-Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field required

Skill preference:

-Minimum of five years of experience in the administration of compensation programs 
-Minimum of three years of experience in a management role overseeing the administration of compensation programs
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required 
-Human Capital Management (HCM) experience preferred, especially PeopleSoft
