Objectives and Key Deliverables

I am a former McKinsey senior manager running a high-growth early-stage technology staffing platform that connects individuals looking for work with businesses looking for staff.

I need a stand-alone consultant to support me in:

+ continuing to embedding a series of target KPIs/metrics across respective business functions (project mgmt and people change)
+ Developing tools to enable both internal team members and platform users to track and ultimately reach those KPIs/metrics (dashboards)
+ conducting data analysis around those KPIs/metrics to track the effectiveness of this embedding (data analysis)
+ Developing materials for me to report back to senior stakeholders (e.g., investors) (deck presentation and model refinement/updating)

We have an established set of metrics in terms of the marketplace dynamics (e.g., number of people working on platform) for which our business is optimised against.

I have just completed a recent update to our operational model which has flagged

1/ there are a few additional metrics that we need to be tracking better and embedding in our processes
2/ as part of the continued automation of the platform we have significant unit cast savings opportunities that we need to track

The request is to have a a stand-alone consultant who is able to come in to the office in London on either a full or (more likely) a part-time basis prior to Christmas.

On a day-to-day basis you will be working with 10 team members across the business with senior members having strong data capabilities but some coaching potentially required for junior members.

Success will be seeing these internal team members owning the full-suite of metrics against them, clear dashboards in place to help them and a final deck showing how over the period these metrics have improved/held to projection.

This period is one of high-growth for us, so we really do need to rely on an outside presence for support / metric enforcement in order that the platform keeps its shape! Some familiarity with how early-stage start ups work will make it easier for you to get up to speed and also operate effectively in this environment.
