Objectives and Key Deliverables

Our client specialises in conducting strategic work such as benchmarking and identification of best practices, evaluating new markets, analyzing the launch of new products and due diligence support for making acquisitions or strategic investments.The work environment is fast-paced, challenging and entrepreneurial. We are looking for someone who is driven, who learns quickly, who is motivated by challenge, accountability and achieving results – and who likes to have fun in their job!Our successful and fast-growing East Coast team is searching to fill this important client-facing role in the Northeast. This person will:-          Work closely with other team members on the East Coast to lead the development of our client’s Northeast client base by identifying and developing accounts-          Own client relationships from inception (initial contact), development, through contracting, project delivery and ongoing client reviews. The goal is to develop and grow long-term relationships.-          Work in conjunction with delivery leadership to oversee multiple ongoing projects at once (e.g. ensuring work plans, client communication and quality of work done by the project team is on track and that the client’s needs are being met by the project delivery teams via frequent check-ins) Job Requirements-          At least 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, market research or an equivalent amount of experience working for a large company in a business development, marketing or strategy role. You must be comfortable working with complex projects and our clients need to identify you as someone whose judgment they can trust-          A high level of comfort with proactively networking and meeting new people; sales or business development experience is a plus-          Experience developing and managing a pipeline of business-          A proven ability to build trust in long-term business relationships across functions-          Very strong analytical and strategic thinking skills that enable critical insights from data and research-          Very strong account management and communication skills-          Highly driven and a proven self-starter with excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently in a lightly-structured environment-          Ability to travel-          Based out of the New York or Boston offices-          Strong familiarity with advanced or emerging research techniques (primary and secondary) is a plus-          Deep industry experience and contacts in one or more core industry verticals is a plus, particularly high technology, life sciences, consumer products and financial services-          Well-connected relationships with people who work for targeted companies in relevant roles is a plus.  Budget: $80k-$110k Start Date: ASAPLocation: NYC offices internalDuration: ideal is permanent, however they will consider a 6 month and above level of commitmentLevel: Project Manager  Additional info: looking after their healthcare and life sciences clients. 50% spent on existing clients, 50% targeting new business
