Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are considering investing into a company that is part of the helicopter landing gear value chain and would like to identify which parts of the value chain is most attractive/ valuable. A research on the value chain for Helicopter Landing Gear, primarily fixed wing, but rotary wing is okay, for helicopters used for defence and civil aviation. In particular:
a. Types of Landing Gears for Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing aircraft
b. Components of helicopter landing gear based on type
b. Value of each component as a proportion of the value of the landing gear
c. Integrators and their respective Tier 1, Tier 2 suppliers including, if possible, those who are doing MRO (components, spares suppliers/manufacturers)
Main interest are players based in Europe and Asia.
The output will be a powerpoint presentation enumerating the various components of helicopter landing gear, each component's value chain and the players in each based din Europe. If applicable, presentation should be broken down into platforms (Airbus, Boeing, Russian Platforms, etc.) per type, rotary wing and fixed wing. If there are more than 5 players, please include an excel file listing the players, which platform and component they are working on and whether Integrator, tier 1 or tier 2 supplier.
