Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a large publishing house group / media conglomerate and we are refreshing the 4 year plan for our TV Shopping Business, in the craft category.

We need to size and evaluate the addressable market and trends (both in terms of the UK TV Shopping market as a whole and the Craft market) and understand our competitive advantage & position. We need to analyse our unit economics, our customer base dynamics and our current acquisition and marketing performance to identify our full potential to scale the business profitably and at pace. We then need to use this to make strategic decisions on investment in airtime vs online video vs website channels etc; and build a new operational and financial plan for the next 4 years. This will involve working closely with management to scope and present the work; with internal customer insight teams to create, run and analyse customer survey(s); with an internal data analyst to analyse customer and sales data; with financial controller to understand the operation and economics.

Key Requirements:
1. 6+ years experience at reputable strategy consulting firm (BCG, Monitor Deloitte, McKinsey or equivalent)
2. Strong Analytical background
3. Experience working with distance shopping companies
4. Open to frequent travel between Birmingham and London offices

Project Deliverables:
1. Presentation
2. Financial model underlying the 4 year plan (with the help of internal finance)
