Objectives and Key Deliverables
Phoenix-IR has developed a social network platform (www.CorporateAccessNetwork.com) for the asset management industry and we are looking for someone to help us with business development.
This Fintech social network platform enables two audiences to connect with each other: (i) Fund managers investing in listed equities with (ii) Investor Relations Officers at publicly listed companies. Think on-line dating service, even if it's not!
CAN has a three year track record and already has approximately 1,000 institutions (mostly European-based) and 2,000 listed companies (roughly 50/50 Europe/US). The potential growth opportunity is significant because there are around 45,000 companies listed on Stock Exchanges worldwide and the platform can extend to cover all these. More realistically, there are 23,000 companies listed in the OECD, including some 6,000 in Europe and 8,000 in North America. We estimate that approximately 30,000 investing institutions could also potentially use the platform. Although the platform is currently limited to the publicly listed company marketplace, it could be leveraged further to the unlisted private equity market.
Looking to kick-off in January with flexibility around duration. Project can be based off-site but availability to meet the team on occasion in either Brussels or London is beneficial.
