Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a private equity firm with dual headquarters in London and New York. We focus on control-oriented investments in European and North American companies, partnering with highly capable management teams and seeking situations characterised by complexity.
We are undertaking a large transformation programme at a major plant of our automotive portfolio business and need someone to lead the implementation.
We are looking for a Programme Manager to drive the execution of this 2 year transformation programme. Following the transformation the role is likely to become a permanent position.
The plant is based in Saxony and employs approx 300 people. We are looking for someone already based, or willing to relocate there.
The transformation agenda has been planned out by a consultancy firm, so we are looking for someone who can be hands-on and lead its execution, refining any initiatives where necessary. The role would report into the COO.
The transformation agenda includes:
- Plant floor redesign and layout change
- Automation initiatives
- Transition to industry 4.0
- Cost reduction (direct cost of production and indirect costs i.e. finance, logistics ect.)
- Operational initiatives and improving efficiency
We are seeking a mid-senior candidate with consulting and in house experience, ideally in the automotive industry, or similar e.g. industrial goods. We need someone who is organised and driven, who can navigate the business from finance to the plant floor with the ability to influence
