Objectives and Key Deliverables
Our client is developing and empowering Qatari entrepreneurs and innovators to contribute in the diversification of the Qatari economy through enhancing technical skills and capability of local entrepreneurs.
In order to achieve this vision, they have undertaken a
series of training and workshop to empower and up skill the local talent with an ultimate objective to establish full-fledged Entrepreneurship Academy.
Our client is seeking the services of a qualified external consultant to advice on an effective and efficient ways of establishing
the Academy. The Academy will allow the entrepreneurs to develop interpersonal skills, such as leadership, communication and networking. Moreover, it will develop a Qatari entrepreneurial mind-set while connecting them with the outside world by gaining valuable knowledge and skills in the area of entrepreneurship. The Academy will be ultimately branded as a separate entity offering high class educational programs to full fill the country’s developmental goals with an intention and a strategic objective to be a separate body playing a major role within the ecosystem. The Academy offerings will beextended through reputable external academic organizations and will include generic courses as well as advanced programs. Duration of the programs will vary depending on the their objectives and target audience. The Academy will offer bilingual programs targeting Qataris only. The service provider will design and consult on the list of deliverables as shown below. The government body will run and monitor the Academy.
The service provider is requested to develop a comprehensive strategy and road map
towards launching the Entrepreneurship Academy by understanding the local
educational ecosystem; clarify the unique knowledge requirements of the local
entrepreneurs. Moreover, by analyzing the educational stakeholder, including but not limited to regulators and influencers and other key players. By reviewing similar regional and international academic centers for Entrepreneurship.
