Objectives and Key Deliverables
An engineering consulting company needs a report about the world wide water transmission market. The following purposes shall be covered: Water supply is needed as potable water, for irrigation in agriculture, for improved oil and gas recovery and in the mining industry. Water for power generation shall be excluded.
The company is giving a presentation at the IPLOCA conference on 9th October in Singapore. Participants are pipeline EPC contractors, mainly in oil & gas and offshore business. The company wants to show the EPC contractors the potential for pipelines / transmission systems in water sector.
Slide generation should include hot spots, drivers, opportunities… Numbers in million cubic meters per year (forecast for the next 5-10 years), because large diameter, long distance pipelines are usually built for long term use (minimum 30 years). Water stressed regions may be of most interest, especially if they overlap with extractive industrial areas (mines, oil & gas high speed production regions), agricultural areas, or highly populated areas. Finally giving number of kilometers of pipelines transporting at least 500 thousand cubic meters per day would be a benefit. Consultant should also note and pay attention to rivalries and different types of water.
4-6 slides (16:9) worth speaking 6-8 minutes. Template can be provided, but form is not important since the whole presentation (including company/service presentation) will be transformed by design firm into one identity at the end.
