Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a multinational technology company specialising in specialty materials and technologies, primarily for industrial and scientific applications.
After completing a recent cost to serve mapping exercise of the downstream part of our business, we are now looking to expand this examination across the whole lifecycle of the supply chain. Need help to evaluate the current tool and determine how gathering and feeding data into the Cost to Serve tool could be simplified and done more efficiently. Create recommendations to simplify the process
We require a senior consultant to advise the current cost to serve model and add some perspective to hopefully achieve a simplified process.
In addition, we would like to carry out a benchmarking exercise to create a broader perspective. Cost Benchmark report - how the cost identified are comparable to overall supply chain costs in other businesses. Are our costs under control? Are we managing them well?
Ideally, you will have a working background knowledge of logistics, freight and warehousing.
