Objectives and Key Deliverables
Fig is one of Europe’s leading venture capital groups, which provides a pragmatic new approach to supporting and investing in high-growth early-stage companies. Founded five years ago, Fig brings together exciting early-stage companies and experienced, value-added investors. In this period, more than £24 million has been raised for 17 companies in the UK, US and Europe. The total enterprise value of the Fig Portfolio is over £70 million.
Fig runs the Enterprising Student Society Accreditation (ESSA), a nationwide university scheme that promotes, recognises and rewards enterprising activity within all undergraduate societies. The scheme has recently received a grant from the European Commission through the Research and Innovation programme, Horizon 2020. With only 6% of applicants being invited to progress, Fig as been asked to present a plan to roll out the ESSA across the EU. The Project Analyst will be responsible for the support and input in the both the research for the plan and designing the potential delivery.
The objectives of the project are to capture the value proposition of being part of Student Societies, understand the differences across universities within the EU, and understand how student societies could be developed further within those countries.
