Objectives and Key Deliverables
The Marketing Manager will work in a Proof of Concept (POC) team to build and grow new products. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of the marketing strategy for the POC.
Role to start ASAP.
Role based in Germany with travel. The company would consider people from other UK, Netherlands etc if you are happy to travel.
Responsible for acquiring customers and managing the marketing channels used to do this
Builds marketing strategy including positioning and messaging
Responsible for operational aspects of marketing activity (e.g. copywriting, working with the designer to create marketing assets)
Carries out qualitative (interviews, etc.) and quantitative (using analytics tools) customer research to understand customer needs and behaviors
Carries out competitor research and other market analysis to inform positioning and messaging
Utilise Agile or other appropriate development methodologies in order to meet objectives
Provide “bench strength” to the Innovation@RWE organisation for future POCs
Be entrepreneurial, perhaps having worked in a start-up
Be delivery focused – driving change and delivery, meeting deadlines within agreed budget limits
Be customer centric - putting their needs at the heart of the product
Experience in creating and delivering marketing strategies
Be able to articulate the big picture as well as be involved in the operational detail
Have experience of working in a fast paced matrix environment with the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently
An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Be comfortable working in a flexible, agile and iterative environment and dealing with ambiguity
Deep experience of Agile Product Development
Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or German would be an advantage
