Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a UK mid-market PE fund, and one of our portfolio businesses is a software firm based in Birmingham.

Our Marketing Director has recently left and we are looking for a consultant to come in and head up our lead generation process. We have an outsourced telemarketing agency, so part of this role will be managing the relationship with that external party, but we are looking for someone to focus on business strategy for the product sets and customer targets.

We need to ensure lead generation is aligned with target customer segmentation and that the customer journey and message is translated through the process.

We are looking for someone with management consulting and in house experience who has worked with customer segmentation and commercial strategy.

We are looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week for the first month, on-site, then 1 day a week following this (which can be remote). Therefore, it is not essential for the consultant to be based in Birmingham as long as they can visit occasionally and are prepared to be on site several days a week for the first month.
