Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are looking for a senior consultant with extensive knowledge and understanding of content driven live events. The project is to develop a brief on credible growth opportunities for a media organisation in live events.
There are three parts to the brief.
The first and most substantive is to provide us with a market briefing on what factors are driving profitable growth in the content driven live events space.
Within this, we would like a view on which are the most important drivers of profitability and the range of margin across revenue streams (eg, ticket sales, sponsorship, exhibitors, etc) and how this differs between B-2-B and B-2-C. We are also keen to understand the role events agencies play in live events for media brands and other content businesses.
The second part is to look at our markets and give us an initial view on which markets could deliver the most revenue / profit together with a set of recommendations on what we might do to leverage this opportunity.
The final part is to provide a briefing on the people and skills sets required to deliver scaled live events and a view on the outsourcing options in the market.

- Extensive experience in B-2-B and B-2-C markets within media
- Knowledge of food and hospitality events in particular
The project will require some interaction with us (either via phone or face to face).
The deliverable is a presentation outlining the key points, with supporting detail in the appendices.
