Objectives and Key Deliverables
We provide conventional and Islamic retail, small businesses and commercial banking services network of branches and ATMs in the UAE as well as Telephone, Online and Mobile Banking channels.
We are seeking an experienced Programme Delivery Manger with start date asap for 12 months contract. We are open to candidates outside UAE. The project is based in UAE full-time.
Confidently lead and drive cross-functional projects, and individual project tracks of large programs through full delivery life-cycle ensuring project is delivered on-time and on-budget
Build relationships with all key stakeholders across the business to ensure the current needs relating to BAU and the broader strategic Transformation programme are understood.
Manages stakeholders and inter-disciplinary teams involved, to ensure successful delivery against expectations.
Responsible for Program Delivery which includes requirement elicitation, solution design, delivery management, support testing, issue analysis and implementation planning.
Establishes key success indicators to manage trade-offs between scope, time, quality, and cost, proactively anticipates risks; and lead the team towards achieving the same.
Ability to balance the immediate operational demands of our day to day business as well as steer our strategic initiatives through the deployment phases of our transformation programme
§ Defines the scope of project in collaboration with senior management and develops a project plan which identifies and sequences activities needed to successfully complete the project while ensuring project timeline, budgets, and resource requirements are achieved.
§ Brainstorms and determines analytic approach to business problem and develops appropriate project plan to identify solutions to assist business leaders achieve business objectives.
§ Manages and directs department's/business-unit's operations by facilitating work processes and ensures alignment with established policies and procedures by coordinating, directing and controlling resources within the department in order to achieve high performance standards without compromising on quality.
§ Proactively seeks to develop teams' and own skills, knowledge and competence and ensures that staff is trained, counselled and motivated so that individual and team performance meets the current and future needs of the business with desired quality standards.
§ Participates in the department's strategy development and oversees the implementation of strategy for the reporting sections, in line with the stated general directorate priorities
§ Lead and develop a strong management team to support the tactical, strategic projects and digital transformation objectives
§ Experience working in iterative development environment such as Agile, Kanban, SAFe, etc.
§ Gravitas to be seen as a credible senior manager in the business, also not just as a digital expert, but also as a commercially astute and strategic individual
§ A self-starter, able to thrive in a demanding environment and foster cross departmental collaboration
§ Experience in having led and delivered successful technical projects in a fast paced and disparate environment.
§ Good technical knowledge and prior experience working closely with IT vendors to deliver large scale enhancements and projects.
§ Prior experience in a senior role leading, supporting and developing a cross functional teams
§ Experience of working directly in a digital transformation project as part of a broader business transformation will be a distinct advantage
§ Create a culture of digital excellence inspired by business needs and opportunities as well as by digital industry innovations and insights.
§ Significant experience in a program, project & change management role, ideally within a recognized bank
§ Understanding of banking products, processes, policies and regulations
