Objectives and Key Deliverables
The Product Manager will lead a Proof Of Concept team to build and grow new products. You will work to define the new product, draw heavily on user research to guide decision-making in a complex stakeholder environment, and ensure that the Lean/Agile product development process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Role to start ASAP.
Role based in Germany with travel. The company would consider people from other UK, Netherlands etc if you are happy to travel.
Understand the customer and market needs and translate those needs into high level concepts for the new product.
Leading and collaborating with developers, designers and marketing managers to build and release working products
Partner with key stakeholders to develop and agree the forward looking product roadmap
Utilise Agile or other appropriate development methodologies in order to meet objectives
Scope and generate commercial business cases to demonstrate the business and customer value
Utilise data to acquire a deeper understanding of customer needs and to enhance commercial revenue
Provide “bench strength” to the Innovation@RWE organisation for future POCs
Have proven experience of building a consumer product from scratch to launch
Be delivery focused – driving change and delivery, meeting deadlines within agreed budget limits
Be customer centric putting their needs at the heart of everything they do
Be commercially focused, with experience of P&L leadership
Be inspiring and a key influencer at all levels of the corporate environment
Be able to articulate the big picture as well as be involved in the operational detail
Have experience of working in a fast paced matrix environment with the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently
An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Be comfortable working in a flexible, agile and iterative environment and dealing with ambiguity
Deep experience of Agile Product Development and Product Management methodologies
Great problem solver
Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or German would be an advantage
