We are a consulting firm staffing a global transformation with a leading FMCG business and need a change manager to organise what needs to take place to ensure it's successful execution.
The Change Manager (CM) will take a lead role with oversight on all Change Management projects and be responsible of ensuring that changes associated with all project/s are understood, managed and that the project/s are delivered without any negative business impact. The role holder will undertake quality assurance to ensure that all projects are being managed in accordance with the UPM Change Management Standards, are meeting the needs of the Business, and provide support and guidance to other Client and 3rd Party Change Managers.
The role holder will use and train on the UPM standards and tools on change management.
Business Partner the Business Project Lead and take responsibility for the Development and Delivery of the Change
Ensure that Change & Communications Management is an integrated part of the overall project governance and planning
Support the Project Sponsor/Business Lead in the development of the overall Business Case and BOSCARD
Develop Senior Stakeholder mapping/planning to create a shared need and mobilise commitment
Development of the overall Change and Communications Strategy using the standard UPM tools
Lead the Change Management and Communications approach use within the project.
Ensure that the UPM Change Management methodology and templates are understood and used within the project
Ensure that there is no negative Business impact resulting from project implementation
Ensure that the project is understood and there is business alignment by creating a shared need, develop a vision and elevator speak.
Quantify Project success criteria and develop measurement methodology
Develop and execute the required change by completing a Change Impact Assessment and Change/Communications plans
Deliver the required behavioural and process changes needed to ensure project success
Develop a process to achieve the required buy-in from all stakeholder groups and where necessary establish a Change Champion network to support the required change.
Ensure that the business is supported throughout the change by developing a Business and User Readiness Checklists
Ensure that appropriate communications are undertaken to facilitate project success
Ensure that an appropriate training plan is developed and delivered to facilitate the project. Consider ongoing requirements that will be needed to ensure that momentum is maintained after the official project completion.
Be a member of the wider Client Project Management Team (UPM)
Ensure that lesson learnt are captured and actions agreed at the end of each project
Own the ongoing development of the UPM Change Management methodology, tools and techniques
Be a Change Agent for the new UPM team
