Objectives and Key Deliverables
A word document with supporting power point slide that examines the future mobility landscape for B2C and B2B customers, as well as how the movement of goods may shift. What will the customer of the future look like? What will be their mobility needs and how will they satisfy those needs? What behaviours will influence the evolution of mobility and how it is adopted? What will be the key customer priorities when it comes to mobility?
The study should analyse how customer needs and behaviours will evolve through 2050, with potential pathways are archetypes highlighted, including:
Urban vs rural
Developed vs developing markets
Deep dive analysis should be included on customers from the following countries/regions: China, India, US, Germany/EU.
An interesting “nice to have” would be to understand what would trigger modal changes in customer behaviour – i.e. what would encourage a customer or cause a customer to adopt a different method of mobility?
Finally, study should provide an assessment of the competition in the mobility space. Who are the main players and what directions/strategies are each adopting? Who are the new movers and shakers to be aware of? IOC/NOCs clearly in scope, but please go beyond that to assess the whole landscape, particularly when it comes to Mobility as a Service.
Analysis should be based on reputable sources, including (but not limited to) reports from management/strategy consultancies and investment banks, public annual reports and company publications, research performed by analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, etc.
