Objectives and Key Deliverables
We own a technology hardware company which currently offers app support and cloud storage without any additional charging model.
There are three areas we need to do better:
- Data from the devices is stored for free
- Apps are uploaded to the devices for free
- There is no tracking of which customers use what
We are looking for help from someone who has been through a commercial transition before who can help the company begin monetizing for these additional areas. Our ideal candidate is someone who has shifted a hardware company to a SaaS model before but we are open to review candidates who have helped companies shift to a SaaS model for example from an on-premise one.
Challenges will be how we execute this both internally, to overcome a "hardware first" company, and then take it to market.
Duration and budget open as we need to scope this out with management when we have the right candidate.
