Objectives and Key Deliverables
A boutique lower middle market private investment company is close to signing an acquisition to carve out a technology business from a US based public company. The business is located in the Western US and due to tight resources and the unique demands of a carve out, they are looking to staff an interim CEO to focus on standing up the NewCo as well as beginning the value creation within the business.
The business unit needs a strong interim CEO with experience in both complex carve outs and driving operational improvements to own both the carve out process and post close value creation plan.
The focus of the value creation plan can broadly be split into:
Top line: pricing, promotion, sales volume increase, sales force effectiveness, go-to-market and new product launches.
Bottom line: OPEX cost control, IT system optimisation and working capital management
The ideal candidate will have a technology background and have experience executing value creation plans as well as carving out and standing up a NewCo.
