Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a global medical device manufacturer looking to bring on additional bandwidth to our European business unit as it transfers contracts from one entity to another.
Our ideal candidate will:
Have 5 or more years of Procurement experience, preferably within either the biomedical or pharmaceutical areas.
Be able to deliver excellence in front-end procurement activities, including benchmarking / negotiating service levels and pricing.
Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers located throughout Europe.
Collaborate with a legal representative, draft various types of contracts, scopes of work and confidentiality agreements with minimal supervision.
Review requisitions and create purchase orders within an ERP system including JDE and Oracle OPC.
Work closely with stakeholders, accounts payable and suppliers to quickly resolve contractual, PO and invoice issues.
Demonstrate diplomacy and ability of working with cross functional teams in a fast pace changing environment to deliver value-added results to the organization.
Quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all; can solve problems with peers; is seen as a team player and is cooperative; easily gains trust and support of peers; encourages collaboration.
Be data driven and able to communicate and report activity.
Well organized and ability to work under pressure in a professional manner, handle multiple tasks, and juggle priorities.
Information Systems Management + PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook skills a must
We have a preference for someone to be based in Inverness or Zug but are open to someone working remotely within Western Europe.
