Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a world leader in blood glucose monitoring and our products are recommended by more endocrinologists and primary care physicians than any other brand. Globally, more than 20 million people depend on our products for simple testing and accurate results to help them manage their diabetes.

As a HR Lead you will:
-Manage the end-to-end process of core HR functional transactions related to workforce management of employees and non-employees within the HCM system  
-Develop schedules, communicate, and implement audits to ensure process flow and data integrity of transactions (i.e., separations, severance calculations, licensures, and citizenship requirements) are in compliance with regulations, and company policies/procedures
-Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Employee Services Director to process complex separations and reduction in force (RIF) transactions
-Develop, monitor, and ensure processes for evaluating and auditing workforce management transactions, including compliance-related documentation, separations, and organization, position, and job code transactions; Ensures HCM processing against established metrics, quality standards, and service level agreements; Reports variances to the Employee Services Director agreements; -Reports variances to the Employee Services Director
Stay informed of key HR issues/events and regulatory changes that impact workforce management processes
-Assist and partner with recruiting initiatives (i.e.-hiring, recruiting, on-boarding, etc.) as needed regionally
-Serve as an escalation point, providing guidance and leadership to HR Senior Specialists and HR Specialists in non-routine or complex transactions
-Review the performance of direct reports; Identifies training needs, corrective requirements, and develop plans of action
-Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders across the organization to foster a team environment promoting open communication  
-Manage and develop a team of HR Senior Specialists and HR Specialists, promotes employee engagement, reviews performance, identifies training needs, and creates plans of action for corrective measures as necessary
-Leverage company resources to reduce cycle time, improve performance, adapt to changing business needs, and improve responsiveness 
Review procedures for continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with established guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements 
-Establish and delegate functional records and reports as needed; Produces and communicates reports as needed by other functional areas and facilities

Skill and education preferences:
-Minimum of five years of experience as a Human Resources professional required
-Minimum of three years in a management role overseeing the administration of complex employee
related transactions required
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
-Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, especially PeopleSoft, preferred 
-Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field required
