Objectives and Key Deliverables
Note: This is a permanent position starting with an 8-month project as described in this project description. Targeting Consultant ( 3-5 years exp. $70 - $90K)) or Senior Consultant level (5 – 7 years exp. $80 - $120K). Compensation is salary + bonus.
We have an existing relationship with an & client with a site in the Canadian Oils Sands. We recently completed a turnaround improvement program, which the client was very pleased with. They have asked us to look at their routine processes to help them reduce costs and improve performance.
- Organization redesign
- Review and improve routine processes
- Establish KPI dashboard and meeting cadence to improve performance management
- Train first line supervision in proactive management to increase craft productivity
- Reduce backlog, increase productivity, reduce costs
Experience with routine processes in heavy asset industries (Oil, Gas & Chemicals). Processes include: work order identification, work order entry, work order prioritization, backlog review & management, Planning, Scheduling, KPIs, management systems.
Knowledge of management and implementation of new processes, and methodologies
Work is 100% on client site for this initial project. In this case split between Calgary and Fort McMurray, Alberta
