Objectives and Key Deliverables

We have recently been approached by our client, the largest fleet of ships offering a wide range of services and facilities, the most comprehensive route network and the most frequent passenger and freight services to the Continent.The company would now like to create a blueprint of ''good looks like'' in terms of port efficiency, defining best practise, benchmarking competitors, and evaluating it's current port performance.This will include: Benchmarking competitors including examining:·         New entrants·         international operators Defining best practise:·         Operational efficiencies·         Staff costs·         Turnaround times Assessing current performance of ports including:·         Evaluating where each port is terms of achieving the blueprint Analysing effective performance Identifying costs Providing a roadmap:·         Defining the plan of action required to reach efficiency for each port Estimating costs, timeframe and ROI

Consultant required:·         Top tier consulting background·         Track record of operational excellence·         4 week project initially, potential for ongoing support·         Experience in ferry, transport sector useful·         Location UK
