Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a consulting firm staffing a global transformation with a leading FMCG business and need a project manager to execute the German playbook.
The Project Manager will be responsible to deliver the project working side by side with the Business Project Lead and using UPM standards and tools. The Business Project Lead will be the ultimate responsible of the delivery of the project, UPM Project Manager will be partnering him and will jointly be responsible from delivery. He will be responsible of ensuring that the project is completed on time and in full, escalations and resolutions are made timely and any revisions to time and/or scope happened with timely and proper governance.
The Project Manager will mainly be responsible for the delivery of the project. The role will partner the Business Project Lead.
Set-up and run project governance
Prepare high-level plan of the project for stakeholders
Prepare and manage detailed project plan on Phoenix
Prepare project resource plan and identify work streams with business project leader
Identify scope and list of deliverables with business project leader
Define and execute relevant PMO meetings
Conduct regular risk assessment
Prepare issue and action logs, risk matrix templates and manage them in a proactive manner to ensure timely delivery
Escalate relevant issues to the relevant party proactively
Prepare regular status and governance reports
Conduct stage gates, ensure relevant sign-offs are taken at respective parts of projects
Set-up project documentation structure and process, monitor for proper delivery
Transfer knowledge to support team at the end of the project
Prepare project closure report
Liaise with other departments where needed, get support
Functional (e.g. Finance, SC, Acquisitions) knowledge
Experience with project management or leading co-wide/global initiatives
Strong track record of performance.
