Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a fast growing and well funded start up based in Berlin Germany. As we are growing rapidly we need support of our core team. May this be on an interim basis at first or a full time basis right away.

This role is focused on the support of our finance team, as we want to achieve a sustainable growth based on sound financial planning. This rolewill back most crucial business decisions with accurate financial analysis and data. You will be responsible for setting up scalable processes in finance. Supported by our Renting and Internal Operations teams you will be handling everything from financial forecasting, management reporting, funding support, investor related reporting, accounting processes as well as internal budgeting and planning for our teams and customers.

Role:
- Enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions backed by numbers and data
- Responsible for the monthly and quarterly reporting to the management and our investors
- Co-create and monitor team budgets and cash-flow forecasts
- Support fundraising
- Owner of the financial implications of our rental contracts and work closely with our internal and external legal advisors
- Work closely with our external accountancy firm and play a key role in the annual accounts process
- Manage and improve the accounting process, closely together with our Internal Operations & Finance manager
- Administer landlords' and tenants' payments, refunds and reimbursements

Requirements
- Solid experience gained from the finance sector (in a leading audit firm, IB or similar position in a start-up
You have successfully completed your degree in a business related field with a focus on finance or have a related finance training
- Sound knowledge of German corporate tax laws as it applies to start-ups
- Business fluent in English and German
- Exceptionally organized, highly solution-oriented and pay close attention to detail
- Plus: Worked with DATEV or a similar accountancy software
- Plus: Ideally already have been involved in legal contract negotiation processes
- Plus: Knowledge of data analytics & visualization tools such as Tableau or MS Power BI
