Objectives and Key Deliverables

Our property company was set up in 2004 to provide overseas property investments to UK investors

When the recession hit the demand for these investments evaporated

At the same time UK residential property prices stated to fall and there became opportunities to move into this market

There was great appetite from international clients to invest in these UK assets and we stated to build the business back up again

2004 – Established
2007 – Downsize and move into UK property
2008 - Survival mode
2012 – 5 year plan for growth
2016 – Open HK office to service demand in HK
2016 – Set up lettings company to service clients property portfolios
2017 – New ambitious 5 year plan for growth

Looking at the aspirations and growth potential for the property company and the lettings company, it is clear that we need to make a step up in marketing. Complete new dynamic messaging, much wider reach and much deeper engagement

In essence, this means increasing resource to deliver a well-defined and clear strategic marketing plan that underpins the revenue goals of ‘both businesses’

Our property company needs to build value in its brand as opposed to its ‘secret black book’

The letting company needs to grow its service level and then offer such a compelling offer that we can create a ‘cabbage patch’. I have very ambitious growth plans for this business

Before adding extra resource and increasing overhead in the marketing department I am suggesting that we consult with a marketing specialist that can help us work out exactly what we are trying to achieve and therefore what resource we need.

Safe to say that a massive increase in Lead Generation and a massive boost to both brands will need to be primary outcomes

The ability to pull together a strategic marketing plan in a timely fashion and get to a related action plan as soon as possible is really important. The ability to make the connection between the plan, the capabilities and the costs and report ROI to the board is a requirement.

This project will be done across the year, with the 24 days spread out throughout the year.
