Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a multinational computer technology with headquarters in the USA. Our products include personal computers, servers, smartphones, televisions, computer software, computer and network security, as well as information security services.

We are looking for a external expert to support us on a project in NRW and Hessen, Germany. The consultant will be asked to have a sound expertise as a Network Sales Specialist. As such the consultant will be asked to:
- Identify, qualify and target opportunities in the beforementioned territory.
- develop sales infrastructure and creative sales approaches/strategies to opportunities by leveraging our existing team and defining a framework for them to operate in after the project is executed.
- create differentiation/compelling sales pitch
- plan, build, enable and accelerate the sales engine for the region
- manage first sales progression and negotiations
- generate an aggressive pipeline generation plan so the team can meet signings and revenue objectives
- implement tools for forecasting, pipeline, and planning

Consultant requirements are
- relevant business development expertise in information technology products
- proven track record of top line improvement projects
- preferably a top tier consultancy
- hands-on experience in working in a complex market environment
- knowledge of strategic account sales techniques/processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals
- demonstrate sound understanding and a passion for the Networking Market
- ability to educate, persuade, and influence others with a proven ability to recruit new partners
