Industries:IT / Telecoms / TechnologyRoles:Finance / Financial ControlGeographic Focus of Project:NetherlandsBackground and ObjectivesManager of Commerce for global telecoms player.Amsterdam Vacancy Job TitleCommerce Reports ToDirector of CommercePosition SummaryThe Group Roaming Manager of Commerce is the main point of contact in respect to  predefined Group/Key partner wholesale roaming relations and contributes to delivery of a substantial part of the Group’s wholesale roaming synergy effect target.Responsibilities and Essential Duties   Negotiate, secure, lead and implement roaming wholesale IOT (Inter-Operator Tariff) discount deals with affiliates and third party networks within set Group/Key accounts on behalf of client.  Contribute to the commercial strategy development as well as process infrastructure necessary to achieve the above in a multi-market organization with global roaming partners. Contribute to the commercial strategy development as well as process infrastructure necessary to achieve the above in a multi-market organization with global roaming partners. Manage the entire life-cycle of wholesale commercial deal in respect to assigned Group/Key deals, including analytics, solid business-case development and presentation. Deliver wholesale roaming synergy effects according to set annual KPIs. Contribute to the commercial and negotiation strategies for roaming discount agreements. Work in close collaboration with the clients affiliate teams on business cases and deal settlements. Provide inputs to budget guidance to assist in managing and monitoring performance to target at Group level. Contribute to commercial strategies development and tactics to optimize wholesale roaming relationships. Leverage affiliate, partner and other network relationships to deliver a commercial basis for to optimize margins. Ensure best practice and facilitate regular dialogue with OpCos to obtain expert input. Contribute to idea generation in the Group’s wholesale roaming business area. Facilitate sharing of ideas and expertise.Qualifications (experience and education)Core and desired experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Economics and/or Mathematics Commercial professional with a proven track record and 5 to 7 years experience; Fluent in English, both written and spokenCore Competencies & Skills Analysis Judgment Communication & Interpersonal skills Creativity Risk assessment Commercial & business awareness Presentation & Negotiation skills Finance for non-finance Marketing Contracting
